Join Our Corporate Finance Team as a Senior Corporate Accountant
We’re seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to support our Finance Team, reporting directly to the Corporate Finance Manager. This is a key opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to play a critical role in supporting the corporate finance team
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
• Preparation of statutory financial accounts and supporting notes as well as significant input into annual and half year Audit processes.Ownership of relevant End of Month processes to ensure deadlines are met.
. Responsible for ensuring general ledger data integrity and balance sheet and sub-ledgers reconcile, balances are verified, and reconciling items actioned as required within agreed timeframes.
• Continually challenge all processes to identify and implement system and process efficiencies to achieve time savings and improve the control environment.

• Your key strengths will be your attitude and appetite to learn and apply your knowledge to stakeholder matters in a proactive manner.
• Sound judgement, critical thinking and analytical skills are vital to enable you to perform your role successfully.
• You will also possess a high level of initiative and organisational skills and manage a variety of tasks to achieve deadlines.
Your Experience
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
• CA/CPA qualified with 7 years’ experience post qualification.
• Commerce or finance related degree.
• Experience in a similar role, with big four business services or audit experience preferable
• Exposure to New Zealand accounting and tax regime would be advantageous, but not essential.
• Advanced understanding of accounting principles.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and experience in an ERP system.
• Proven ability to work in a hands-on capacity and be passionate, enthusiastic and enjoy a role where you have a direct interaction with cost centre owners and stakeholders across the business.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
