We are looking for highly-skilled creative professionals to join us and help shape the future creative for Mercedes-Benz, one of the world's most iconic and recognised brands. Working in a hybrid model, there's an expectation to be in the office at least three days per week.
Creative thinkers with great craft skills who can inspire the more junior members of the team and liaise with clients when required.
The Global Content Team is a central team within team x working directly with the Mercedes-Benz Global Content Hub, Mercedes-Benz HQ and all team x discipline hubs. It operates as the content partner for all central creative initiatives and marketing communications for 33 markets around the world.
The work is exciting, the level of craft is critical and the possibilities are broad!
Your Role
We are looking for someone who is unapologetically their full self. Someone who brings a different perspective, their history, their experiences, and stories.
A strong writer who knows how to bring a story to life across digital channels and user journeys. Comfortable pushing the boundaries ofcreative excellence while keeping an eye on delivering required results. You know how to write beautifully crafted simple headlines as well as engaging long copy.
In this senior position, you must have exceptional language skills, flawless grammar and punctuation, with experience working alongside Art Directors and Designers.
Your Responsibilities
- Must be able to handle high-level projects, as well as several assignments at a time.
- Manage workflow efficiently and take responsibility for timing and
- Develop great work within guidelines and on budget.
- Work collaboratively with creative partners, members of creative and core departments.
- Present work coherently and persuasively; express ideas in a form that clients can buy.
- Stay current with changes in technology and demonstrate technical competence.
- Show eagerness to experiment, collaborate, and see ideas implemented.
- Creates and checks work with obsessive attention to detail.
- To write perfectly crafted copy to bring creative concepts to life, that are on brand across all marketing channels.
- Constantly striving for great craft, precision, consistent innovative solutions.
Your Experience
- Experience of working with, and knowledge of, brands, ideas and technology.
- Demonstrable experience of challenging and embracing new ways of thinking and creating.
- You are fluent in English (required). German language skills are strongly preferred.
- Experience with AI and GenAI is a bonus.
- 10+ years experience as an agency copywriter, working on campaigns and adhoc executions alike, with a reputation for excellent craft, knowledge of brand tone of voice implementation - with a strong portfolio that brings your best work to life.
- Must demonstrate a strong ability to write in multiple voices and styles.
- Must have strong presentation skills.
- Experience working in the Automotive sector is a bonus.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
