About This Opportunity 

Make a meaningful impact on students’ futures by connecting them with prestigious scholarship opportunities beyond UQ. As Senior Coordinator, Scholarships Engagement & Partnerships, you will lead engaging university-wide campaigns, build influential relationships with scholarship providers and UQ stakeholders, and coordinate high-quality application and interview support that helps students put their best foot forward.

You will also oversee key partnership-based initiatives, including the University’s Multi-Faith Chaplaincy, within the Student Enrichment and Success division. 

Key responsibilities will include: 

  • Lead integrated engagement and communication campaigns that increase awareness and participation in prestigious external scholarships. 

  • Build and manage strategic relationships with national and international scholarship providers, acting as UQ’s key liaison. 

  • Coordinate applicant guidance, workshops, interview preparation and institutional selection processes. 

  • Develop strong networks across faculties and central units to identify, refer and support high-potential applicants. 

  • Analyse engagement, application and outcome data to improve campaigns, processes and the student experience. 

  • Provide operational oversight of the Multi-Faith Chaplaincy, including governance, risk management and supervision of the Chaplaincy Coordinator.

You will combine strong project and relationship management capability with a genuine commitment to helping students access opportunities that can enrich their study, careers and lives.

You will also bring: 

  • An undergraduate degree with subsequent experience in scholarship management, engagement and/or student success initiatives in a university environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 

  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, influence and build productive relationships with diverse stakeholders. 

  • Demonstrated project management capability, including planning, prioritising and delivering initiatives within agreed timelines and resources. 

  • Experience leading and developing staff, fostering a positive team culture and achieving high-quality outcomes through direct reports. 

  • The ability to collect, analyse and report on engagement and program outcomes to inform decisions and continuous improvement. 

  • Strong organisational and coordination skills, sound judgement and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
