At our site in Cham we are looking to recruit an
Controller (f/m/d)
Main responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all monthly, quarterly & yearly financial reporting requirements are met in an accurate and timely manner (Actuals Profit &Loss, Balance sheet, OneStream requirements). Provides meaningful financial information and analysis to the FP&A Manager and to the local management team when required.
- Inventory evaluation and Standard costing updates
- Support on elaborating the financial forecast and Actual. Review with the FP&A Manager and submit timely to meet Corporate Finance deadlines. Prepare reconciliation for the Monthly calls and explain the actual results and drivers.
- Responsible for preparing the Sales Statistic Reporting for 3 different Business Units
- Support on Internal and External Audit Requirements including annual review of SOX Narratives.
- Support for the creating the Strategic Plan and Annual Budget, including coordination and elaboration with various responsible stakeholders.
- Preparation of various presentations (e.g. Budget, Forecast, Flash)
- Coordinate IC activities on a monthly and early period (IC COGS evaluation & updates, true up process review, cut of date, Transfer price)
- Establish Profitability Analysis & Providing strategic financial advice to FP&A and Management supporting increasing profitability
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Accounting/Controlling or Finance degree, with +5 years’ experience in similar roles ideally in Pharma industry, with experience on financial consolidation.
- Expertise on G/L, BS, but also good analytical skills to understand numbers. Understanding manufacturing cost accounting is a must.
- Excellent analytical skills, with proven track record for preparing complex analysis and financial reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel (Power BI & Power Query) and ERP systems (JDE).
- Organizational skills are a must, prioritizing work to meet timetables and deadlines is crucial.
- Positive and self-motivated attitude
- Fluent in English, Fluent in any other language is a plus
