The opportunity
As a Senior Content Operations Specialist, you play a key role in turning ideas into published, localized content across our European markets.As a Senior Content Operations Specialist, you play a key role in turning ideas into published, localized content across our European markets. You will join our Content Team and own the end-to-end content and localization workflow for Recharge and our broader suite of storefronts, coordinating a network of freelance writers and translators, safeguarding editorial quality, and keeping content moving across web, campaigns, and social.
Just as importantly, you will lead our shift toward AI-native operations. We are moving away from fully manual content and translation processes toward AI-augmented workflows that deliver more, faster, and at lower cost, with human judgment focused where it matters most.
What you'll do
- Own the end-to-end content production workflow, from briefing through editing to final approval, across our freelance network of ~15 writers and translators
- Run day-to-day localization operations in Phrase TMS, including translation memory, glossaries, vendor coordination, and quality assurance across our European markets
- Lead the transition to an AI-native localization workflow, pairing AI translation with native-speaker review to cut time-to-market and lower translation costs
- Drive content operations for TikTok by coordinating production, managing talent, and keeping everything we publish high quality and on-brand
- Maintain editorial standards and quality control across all original and translated content, so everything meets a consistent bar
- Embed AI tools into briefing, drafting, translation, and quality checks to run operations efficiently and free up time for higher-value work
- Plan editorial capacity and the content calendar, partnering with SEO, campaigns, design, and our technical/automation team to keep delivery on track
- Manage the freelance and vendor base, balancing cost, quality, and turnaround as AI takes on more of the routine volume
What you'll bring
- 5+ years in content operations, social media, editorial project management, or a closely related field
- Proven track record coordinating freelancers, translators, or agencies to deliver content and translations on time and to a high standard
- Hands-on experience with a translation management system (ideally Phrase), including translation memory, glossaries, and QA workflows; familiarity with automation tools (e.g. n8n), CMS platforms, and content APIs a plus
- Strong editorial management across languages and markets, with the ability to brief, edit, and approve content to a high quality bar
- Practical experience applying AI tools to real workflows, ideally designing or running AI-assisted translation or content pipelines that combine machine translation or LLMs with human post-editing
- Excellent organizational and project-management skills, keeping many moving parts coordinated without dropping anything
- Proving experience working across European markets and managing multilingual content, including social or short-form operations such as TikTok; additional European languages a bonus
