JOB DESCRIPTION: Senior Content Analyst

The Third-Party Data Integration team integrates and supports diverse datasets, including industry-specific data, fundamentals, mutual funds, and ESG, within FactSet's ecosystem. The Senior Content Analyst role involves managing and supporting third-party datasets, working independently as part of a global team, and communicating effectively with stakeholders and data partners. Responsibilities include managing financial data, debugging, and resolving data quality issues, and liaising with product owners, development teams, our third-party data providers, and sales to ensure timely and efficient resolutions. Strong analytical, technical skills and client support capabilities are required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daily management of data quality, monitoring FactSet’s ETL process for multiple third-party datasets, and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Communicate effectively with account and sales teams.
- Support and articulate third-party data methodologies.
- Use proprietary software to query & manage data and identify recurring issues/requests, making recommendations for feature enhancements.
- Communicate data integrity fixes with Product Developers and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintaining and refining documentation for various datasets.
- Conduct comprehensive testing of new releases, bugs, and enhancements, and contribute to ad-hoc projects.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Finance, Economics, or Computer Science.
- 2-3 years of industry experience.
- Decision-making skills prioritizing clients’ best interests.
- Strong verbal and written communication and collaboration skills with a global, cross-functional team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Quick learner who can apply skills and past experiences to new situations.
- Knowledge of the financial industry, particularly fundamental data, is a big plus.
HIGHLY DESIRED
- Basic knowledge of Python, Pandas, and other commonly utilized programming languages.
- Understanding and familiarity with relational and non-relational database concepts.
- Experience with the AGILE development framework.
- Experience or familiarity with ESG data.
- Interest in learning new concepts and skills.
