About the Role

Join our Brisbane Consulting team and help organisations navigate complex strategic and operational challenges.

As a Senior Consultant, you will work across a diverse portfolio of government, private sector and not-for-profit clients. You will collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities, solve complex problems and deliver practical solutions that improve strategic and operational outcomes.

Your work may span strategic planning, business case development, operational improvement, service delivery model design and large-scale transformation programs. You will be part of a collaborative team that combines research, analysis and stakeholder insights to deliver meaningful outcomes for clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining and analysing client challenges and opportunities to develop practical, evidence-based solutions
  • Supporting the planning and delivery of consulting engagements in line with established methodologies and quality standards
  • Conducting research and analysis to generate insights and support strategic and operational decision-making
  • Facilitating workshops and engaging with client leadership teams and key stakeholders
  • Preparing high-quality reports, recommendations, communications, business cases and improvement roadmaps
  • Collaborating with specialists across the business to deliver valuable and practical advice
  • Contributing to proposals, tenders, RFPs and broader business development activities
  • Working closely with project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients

About You

You are naturally curious about how organisations operate and motivated by the opportunity to solve complex problems. You bring a structured and analytical mindset, feel comfortable working through ambiguity and can translate insights into clear, practical recommendations.

You will also bring:

  • Experience in consulting or professional services, ideally across strategy, transformation, operating model design, process improvement or related engagements
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to present complex ideas clearly and professionally
  • The ability to provide concise and meaningful updates while proactively managing client and project expectations
  • Strong research, analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities
  • An understanding of how strategy translates into organisational priorities, operating models, transformation initiatives and improved performance
  • A continuous learning mindset and an interest in exploring new methodologies, tools and approaches
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and client commitments while maintaining excellent attention to detail
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, with the confidence to take ownership and work with appropriate autonomy
  • A collaborative style and a commitment to contributing positively to team culture

Skills Required

  • At least 3 years of experience in consulting or professional services
  • Experience in strategy, transformation, operating model design, process improvement, or organizational performance

  • Confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels
