SENIOR CONSULTANT - STAFFING SERVICES (UKG)

The Senior Consultant - Staffing Services provides expert UKG consulting services, leveraging their technical, management, and leadership skills to ensure project success and help clients maximize the value of their UKG Workforce Management solutions while meeting organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Perform professional services for Nordic and its affiliates in alignment with the expectations of Nordic and each applicable client, including but not limited to:

  • Evaluate current workforce management processes and procedures; recommend and develop system configurations, workflows, and best practices within UKG Workforce Dimensions and Workforce Central environments.
  • Apply UKG technical and functional expertise to client system configuration, administration, testing, troubleshooting, and optimization initiatives.
  • Provide production support, issue resolution, and system maintenance for UKG Workforce Management solutions, including Timekeeping, Scheduling, Accruals, and Attendance.
  • Participate in and lead system configuration activities, upgrades, enhancements, and optimization efforts based on client requirements.
  • Provide project management and project leadership services in alignment with client expectations and contracted role.
  • Provide leadership guidance and mentorship to client stakeholders and Nordic teammates.
  • Work directly with project teams, end users, HR, payroll, operational leaders, and executive stakeholders as project needs dictate.
  • Lead and attend meetings regarding project status, system enhancements, issue resolution, and ongoing work-product coordination.
  • Accurately and completely document work progress, issues, escalations, system changes, and other required information in accordance with Nordic and client requirements.
  • Additional project-specific duties as required by the client.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • UKG-related training, certification, or accreditation preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting UKG Workforce Management solutions required.
  • 5+ years of professional experience with UKG Workforce Dimensions, Workforce Central, or related workforce management platforms strongly preferred.
  • Experience with UKG system administration, configuration, troubleshooting, testing, and production support preferred.
  • Experience supporting workforce management processes including timekeeping, scheduling, attendance, accruals, and payroll integrations preferred.
  • Previous consulting experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to apply problem-solving and technical skills in complex environments.
  • Must demonstrate and embody Nordic's maxims.
  • Possess a strong work ethic and treat others with respect, keep commitments, inspire trust, work ethically and with integrity, and uphold organizational values.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting customer service commitments and project timelines.
  • Demonstrated sound judgment and appropriate escalation practices.

  • Self-starter with the ability to manage schedules, meet deadlines, and maintain accountability for work product.

  • Must be able to work independently as well as within a collaborative team environment.

Additional Details

  • Work may be performed remotely or onsite in a professional office, healthcare organization, or other industry-specific environment.
  • Travel up to 100% of the time, or as Nordic or client needs dictate.
  • Position may require travel outside of scheduled work hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Work schedule may vary based on client and project needs and may include weekdays, weekends, holidays, after-hours support, on-call responsibilities, or extended hours.
  • Must be available for calls, emails, and consultations outside of standard business hours as needed to support clients and communicate with Nordic team members.
  • Timely entry of time and expenses required in accordance with Nordic and client policy.
  • Status reporting and project handoff documentation as required by Nordic or client.
  • Provide equipment necessary to perform job functions in accordance with Nordic and client policy.
  • Complete all Nordic and client-required training and education in a timely manner.
  • Respond to communication from Nordic leadership and corporate teams in a timely and professional manner.
  • May be invited to attend corporate functions as a representative of Nordic to build client relationships and engage with prospective consultants and colleagues.
