The Sr Talent Development Consultant applies deep expertise in adult learning, facilitation, and performance consulting to create impactful learning experiences that build confidence, capability, and connection across all levels of the organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Consult on learning program development and facilitate engaging learning experiences grounded in adult learning principles and Empower’s leadership expectations.
Deliver high-impact sessions across leadership and professional skills training programs
Curate and adapt learning content from external and internal resources (e.g., LinkedIn Learning, Allego, getAbstract) to meet evolving business needs.
Facilitate practice-based learning experiences such as live role plays and simulations to build confidence and consistency.
Lead and support programs that strengthen leadership, manager, and HiPo capabilities through professional skill development.
Apply a holistic approach to learning that integrates leadership mindsets, communication, influence, and business acumen skills.
Support the delivery of differentiated learning pathways for emerging leaders, people managers, and senior talent.
Stay current on industry trends and emerging practices in talent and leadership development
Leverage data, feedback, and performance insights to continuously refine learning strategies and measure impact.
Facilitate team development activities to build trust and understanding and/or improve working relationships
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Talent Development, or related field
7+ years of progressive experience in learning and development, with demonstrated expertise in leadership, professional, and/or sales training.
Strong facilitation skills with proven success leading interactive, experiential learning for diverse audiences.
Experience consulting with senior leaders and influencing across functions.
Demonstrated strength in instructional design, adult learning theory, and the use of digital learning tools.
Strong business acumen and understanding of client engagement best practices.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency with virtual learning tools (MS Teams, Allego, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience working in a global, matrixed organization preferred.
Familiarity with tools such as Workday, Service Now, Peakon, or other HR systems preferred.
Certification in talent assessment or development tools (e.g., Strength Finders, Emergenetics, Hogan, Korn Ferry, etc.) preferred.
