We are seeking a Senior Consultant to support the Indian Restructuring business. The position will be based in Delhi/Mumbai within the Restructuring Practice. Senior Consultant will be responsible for the various day-to-day procedures involved in the successful operation of the business and for ensuring deadlines are met.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Take on managerial and execution role in the Restructuring team by assuming responsibility for the day-to-day operation of restructuring assignments in accordance with the project requirements
Provide reports to the Directors and Managing Directors where appropriate, delegating tasks as required to other members of the team and ensuring their timely completion
- To take ownership of work assignments and manage their own workload.
- Identify and discuss with the manager issues and obstacles as they arise, suggesting solutions to overcome and progress matters
- Ensure deadlines are met and case progression can be demonstrated across own portfolio
- Be able to work on several different assignments effectively at one time
- Visit client premises/offices and liaise with client’s employees, agents and solicitors as necessary
- Strong understanding of reading and analyzing financial statements, preparation of financial models and marketing collaterals
Handle and respond, within acceptable timescales, to case related correspondence and telephone calls from stakeholders, clients and creditors
Assume responsibility for client relations and liaise with clients, clients’ employees, agents and solicitors as necessary
Build and maintain relationships with other professionals, referring work where appropriate to those professionals and where possible finding referrals
Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of both Kroll and job holder
Adhere to Kroll systems, policy requirements and relevant Health & Safety policy
Be willing to travel internally

REQUIREMENTS:
Previous restructuring/transactions/special situations experience desirable
A minimum of 4-5 years’ financial/commercial experience in India - Big 4, investment banking or equivalent, with experience in audit, management accounting, valuation or M&A;
The ideal candidate will possess finance relation educational qualifications such as Chartered Accountant, CFA, Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or MBA in Finance
Strong academic track record
Ability to manage confidential, sensitive information
