Job Description
BryceTech is seeking an experienced Scientific Consultant – Programmatic SME to join our team and support our Federal Government Customer. The consultant will provide support to the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR), Professional Technical and Medical Staffing Support Services contract to provide logistics, management, analytic and procurement staffing support services.
The scope of this contract includes all tasks associated with providing support to the ASPR Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority’s (BARDA) mission to conduct R&D and AR&D efforts to provide medical countermeasures that address the public health medical consequences of chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) events, pandemic influenza, and emerging infectious diseases.
The Scientific Consultant will have experience working with Senior Leadership and Federal/Civilian Agencies and or Military Services. Contract Place of Performance is Remote.
- Serve as senior contract personnel Subject Matter Expert to BARDA.
- Coordinate educational, informational and cultural awareness activities across BARDA.
- Responsible for a variety of comprehensive program support, analytical, writing, and editing assignments.
- Reviews and analyzes procedures and operating policies to assess their effectiveness.
- Provide summaries, evaluations, information, and written recommendations to record, store, and manage knowledge procedures and operations, study, interpret, develop, and implement new and existing administrative directives.
- Organizes and assigns responsibilities to subordinates, oversees successful completion of all tasks, maintains reports, maintains quality control, documents, and resolves problems.
- Provides technical subject matter expertise across the public health spectrum.
- Review and provide expert recommendation / feedback on documents, processes, procedures and ways of working with BARDA
- Form, participate in, or manage short-term specific asks related to their area of expertise and/or leadership experience.
- Extensive experience in FAR based contracting and use of Other Transaction Authority (OTA) covering cradle to grave of the full acquisition life cycle from Acquisition Planning through Closeouts.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree (or higher) in related area of expertise
- 10-15 years’ experience in their specific area of expertise
