The team is tasked with working across functions and business units, including Marketing, Sales, Technology, Operations, and both Market and Global Solutions teams. Your expected points of collaboration include incorporating feedback from Sellers to enhance CPQ usability, receiving inputs from the Solutions team on business context for new products and coordinating with Technology and Operations teams to reflect the evolution of the tool in our business systems.

The Senior Consultant will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, project teams, and Technology and Operations teams to ensure the effective implementation of CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) configurations aligned with TransUnion’s business requirements. This role combines the skills of a Business Analyst and Project Manager, requiring a deep understanding of pricing strategies, business processes, and project management methodologies.
In this role, you will drive success in the following areas:
- Analysis:
- Collaborate with Operations to gather, document, and analyze CPQ requirements related to pricing strategies, discount structures, and product configurations.
- Ensure accurate and efficient pricing rules, discount structures, and product configurations.
- Review existing processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Management:
- Lead CPQ implementation projects from a business perspective, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Communication:
- Act as a point of contact for other business stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to ensure Solutions managers and end-users understand and adopt CPQ configurations effectively.
- Collect voice of customer input from stakeholders to effectively iterate on CPQ functionality
- Assurance:
- Conduct thorough testing of CPQ to validate accuracy, functionality, and performance.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance CPQ processes and configurations over time.
Your success in the role will improve our overall speed to market, measurability, and consistency in which we represent products and solutions at Transunion. The core of this role is process improvement and governance, as well as support of key projects to enable go-to-market and acquisitions integrations.

- 7+ years of professional experience and candidates with pricing, finance, operations, consulting and/or product management exposure are preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, or a related field.
- Enjoys working with cross-functional and global teams
- Strong analytical, communication, project management, and time management skills
- Enterprising and detail-oriented mindset
- Able to be flexible in supporting internal customers across multiple geographies
- Highly proficient in Excel
- Skilled at converting business requirements into data models that drive strategic outcomes
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ or similar CPQ platforms is highly desirable
- Prior experience in process re-engineering and/or change management preferred
- Prior experience with Salesforce and/or Jira highly desirable
Experience with data analysis tools, including SQL and Alteryx, or proficiency in AI prompts and interpretation for detailed analysis, desirable
