We are currently looking for a highly analytical, self-motivated Senior Consultant with a background in Financial Reporting and Consolidation Applications to join our team in Milan. 
Reporting to the Pre-Sales and Professional Services Manager, in this position you will play a key role in ensuring and fostering the growth of our local Financial Reporting & Consolidations practice. As a Senior Consultant, you'll be the clients advisor, championing best practices in both backend and frontend development of Board GCR & BLA Solutions.
By taking this challenge, you will have the chance to work with our clients ensure timely and accurate collection of financial information aimed at preparing consolidated financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).

Core responsibilities:
 

  • Utilize GCR Board solution to streamline the consolidation process
  • Analyze consolidated financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement
  • Involvement in the process, from gathering requirements, through the completion of implementation, according to the project’s needs
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and proactive issue resolution. Be receptive to customer requirements and mitigate concerns.
  • Support and advice for our partners and customers in case of technical problems.
  • Acquire and maintain deep knowledge and skills of Board products and technologies
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices
     

Requirements:
 

  • Academic Background in Economics, Finance, or similar field
  • Proven experience in Financial Consolidation Project implementations
  • Experience with financial consolidation and intercompany reconciliation processes
  • Experience with Cloud solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work against very tight target dates in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in local language and English
  • Critical thinking, decision making, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
  • PM certifications such as PRINCE2, PMI/PMP, SCRUM will be considered a plus
