Transunion Marketing Solutions is looking for talented analysts who will work on challenging business problems, focusing on developing analytical and scoring solutions for marketing, risk and fraud, but also acting as an analytics subject matter expert for internal and external clients.

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree with mathematical or engineering background: Statistics, Data Mining, Operations Research, Econometrics, Finance, Engineering or similar
• 5+ years of experience working on modeling and data-intensive analytics solutions
• Solid understanding of data mining and statistics concepts and familiarity with real world applications of those techniques
• Hands on experience in machine learning, working with commercial and/or open-source statistics and data mining packages.
• Experience modeling with SAS and Python
• Ability to work with demographic data from various sources and agencies, including designing and conducting surveys to gather population data, interpret data to identify trends and patterns in population dynamics
• Strong written and oral communication skills, ability to clearly present and explain statistical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Strong inter-personal collaboration skills, ability to manage multiple projects with a large cross-functional team
• Strong work ethic with the ability to learn in a fast-paced environment, adapt to the situation, be flexible and nimble in terms of work planning, and to think quickly on your feet
• General curiosity, a willingness to experiment, pragmatism and the ability to handle ambiguity

Impact You'll Make:

• You will help translate client requests into analytical questions that you will answer with data analysis and modeling.
• You'll create custom segmentation and scoring solutions, leveraging SAS, Python, and other statistical and modeling tools to address client needs.
• You will design, build, update, and improve data models for TransUnion consumer insights solutions.
• You will assemble, cleanse, and analyze new and existing TransUnion data assets to develop new and custom solutions.
• You will work directly with product management and data engineering teams to understand requirements, develop data science methodologies, and implement new data products and custom solutions.
• You will become a subject matter expert on leveraging TransUnion marketing data assets and customer analytics to help clients make informed marketing decisions.
• You will investigate internal and external data analytics questions and respond with methodology descriptions and suggestions.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Pay Scale Information :
The salary range for this position is $95,105.00 - $156,000.00. *The salary range for this position reflects the general range of compensation for this job and does not include our bonus incentive(s). This position is eligible for bonus incentive(s). At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position, and market considerations.
