What you'll be doing
As a member of CIBC’s team, the Senior Consultant, Business Systems Analysis will be responsible for providing advice and consultation for business application developments to ensure growth. In this role, you will provide technical leadership, interpreting complex information and participating in client business review sessions to influence decisions regarding the use of technology to support objectives. You will recommend and facilitate activities required for the application of new technologies to support existing processes and client needs. Additionally, you will provide expertise to project managers, coordinators and directors on technology functionality and utilization, utilizing a solid understanding of business dynamics. You will also resolve a variety of ambiguous challenges with organization-wide impacts, devising new methods using strong analytic and inductive thinking.

How you'll succeed
Understanding and Documenting Requirements - Work closely with business partners to gather complex business requirements and facilitate solution design discussions to ensure you meet project needs. Build strong relationships, lead discussions, listen and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements.
Solution Design - Build client-focused solutions that meet business requirements. Prepare and validate solution design documents around areas such as scope clarification, solution requirements, and quality assurance.
Leading and Mentoring – Support end-to-end project implementation as a subject matter expert, and provide guidance to a diverse team of technology and project professionals. Maintain a collaborative work environment and support team members to resolve organizational, operational, and process problems.
Who you are
You can demonstrate over 5 years' experience as a Business Systems Analyst leading digital transformation projects and designing solutions.
You have strong experience eliciting business requirements, analyzing gaps, and solid documentation skills.
You have excellent ability to manage stakeholders and work with technology partners.
You have strong problem solving and organizational skills.
You are proficient with Excel pivot tables, Visio, and other Microsoft office applications.
You have experience working in agile environment using Jira and Confluence.
