  • Define, plan and help drive business analysis activities and timelines, operating independently where methods or precedents are not fully established.
  • Champion and strengthen delivery governance, requirements quality, traceability, approval discipline and consistent use of BA standards across initiatives.
  • Coach junior and mid-level business analysts, acting as a trusted resource for analysis methods, stakeholder engagement, artefact quality and delivery discipline.
  • Influence senior stakeholders by communicating complex analysis, difficult trade-offs and recommended options clearly, constructively and with appropriate evidence.

Required Knowledge And Experiences

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst across a broad range of delivery programmes and project types, for example:
    • Software.
    • Infrastructure.
    • Data.
    • Transformations and change programmes.
    • InfoSec/Compliance.
    • Process improvements.
    • Operating model design.
  • Proven ability to operate at Senior/Lead BA level, with minimal supervision, advanced judgement and leadership of medium- to high-complexity analysis assignments using a broad range of business analysis tools and techniques.
  • Experience working within structured governance, waterfall and agile project delivery methodologies, and software development practices.
  • Experience working in a global organisation.

Required Technical Skills

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to use qualitative and quantitative insight to assess complex issues and support structured decision-making across transformation and change activity.
  • Ability to think and plan at both strategic and detailed levels, connecting initiative-level analysis to wider business, technology, governance and organisational objectives.
  • Advanced requirements management skills, including elicitation, prioritisation, traceability, change control, approval and validation across complex delivery lifecycles.
  • Strong impact analysis and business case capability, supporting investment decisions, benefits understanding, risk assessment and change prioritisation.
  • Strong process mapping, process improvement and operating model analysis skills, with the ability to identify improvement opportunities and support practical implementation planning.
  • Ability to analyse and document technical landscapes, system dependencies, data requirements and interface requirements.
  • Advanced stakeholder management, communication, negotiation and influencing skills, including the ability to engage senior stakeholders, communicate difficult plans and shape shared understanding across business and technology teams.
