At Exness, we are not just a leading trading broker—we’ve reimagined what it takes to be a leader. With 40M+ trades a day and 2,000+ people across 13 countries, we combine scale, care, and real tech to make trading better for 1M+ clients worldwide.

Recognised globally as a Best Place to Work, we’re a people-first company where long-term wins always matter more. As part of our team, you will shape the future of fintech with real technology, care, and purpose.

Why this role matters

As our Senior Compliance Specialist, you aren't here to simply check boxes or stall progress; you are a strategic engine driving our sustainable growth. Navigating an increasingly demanding, multi-jurisdictional regulatory landscape is one of our highest-stakes challenges, making this position the critical bridge between strict global mandates and real-world business execution. You will turn complex requirements into practical strategies across everything from AML and trading to marketing and customer support, ensuring our expansion is both compliant and agile.

By embedding yourself deeply into our operations, you will lead high-impact initiatives from concept to implementation, keeping our processes regulatory-proof but never rigid. Your mission is to act as a premier business enabler, designing scalable, commercially viable workflows that protect our ecosystem while actively minimizing operational friction. Rather than adding administrative hurdles, you will look for opportunities to streamline controls, leverage smart automation, and eliminate unnecessary burdens on our teams.

Ultimately, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, helping the company confidently navigate ambiguity and make informed decisions that balance compliance, customer experience, and commercial objectives. We are looking for an analytical problem-solver who welcomes constructive challenge and is confident enough to question established practices. Through your sound judgment and credibility, you will directly build the organizational resilience we need to scale globally and shape the future of our industry.

The role is based in our Limassol office, Cyprus. In case of relocation, we offer full relocation support for you and your family to make your move smooth and worry-free.

What you'll actually do
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business units, providing practical, risk-based guidance that balances multi-jurisdictional regulatory obligations with customer experience and commercial growth.
  • Own and continuously enhance the Compliance Monitoring Program to identify emerging risks, bridge control gaps, and drive timely remediation.
  • Monitor and interpret global regulatory developments, translating complex requirements into actionable business solutions and delivering impactful risk reports to senior management.
  • Lead end-to-end regulatory interactions, licensing initiatives, audits, and inspections, ensuring all submissions are accurate, complete, and delivered on time.
  • Oversee the accuracy of regulatory reporting and disclosures, proactively identifying, escalating, and remediating reporting risks arising from system or operational changes.
  • Own the creation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of compliance policies, frameworks, and fit-for-purpose templates aligned with evolving business objectives.
  • Challenge established practices to design efficient, scalable compliance solutions, actively leveraging technology and automation to reduce operational burdens.
  • Lead strategic compliance projects, align standards across internal teams, and foster a culture of compliance through training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
  • Manage and optimize compliance-led operational workflows, serving as the primary point of contact for marketing reviews, complaints handling, screening, and AML risk assessments.
Who we’re looking for
  • University Degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar senior compliance, risk, or regulatory role within financial services or a related fast-paced industry.
  • Professional experience within consulting practice, or specialized advisory role, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance, risk, or governance.
  • Proven experience navigating multi-jurisdictional regulatory environments.
  • A track record of owning major regulatory engagements / interactions.
  • Demonstrated success in process optimization, workflow streamlining, and leveraging technology, automation, or AI to improve compliance scalability.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to look at the big picture, evaluate cross-functional interdependencies, and balance strict regulatory requirements with commercial objectives.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to build credibility, drive alignment across cross-functional teams, and influence senior leadership.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, or developing team capabilities and fostering compliance best practices, whether in a formal or informal management capacity.
  • Comfort operating independently, managing multiple high-priority deadlines with precision, navigating ambiguity, and constructively challenging established practices to drive better outcomes.
  • Excellent verbal and written English fluency is required. Any additional language might be considered a plus.
What we offer along the way
  • Competitive salary and annual performance bonus
  • Full relocation support for you and your family — flights, housing, visas, and legal assistance included
  • Top-tier health insurance with full family coverage — medical, dental, vision, mental health — plus life insurance for peace of mind
  • Unlimited learning opportunities: external courses, English lessons, career and leadership development
  • Education allowance covering school and kindergarten fees
  • 21 working days of annual leave, plus public holidays and fully paid sick, maternity, and paternity leave
  • Employee appreciation program: branded gifts, birthday day-offs, celebration budgets for weddings, newborns, and milestones
  • “Get to know Team” trips — meet colleagues across our global hubs, along with company-wide offsites that raise the bar
  • Employee share scheme — grow with us

  • Support with the naturalisation process for relocated employees
