The Compliance Investigator will be responsible for investigating cases regarding a variety of matters involving alleged violations of law or GE Aerospace policy. Working with other stakeholders in Legal, Compliance, HR and other areas, the Compliance Investigator will conduct investigations of policy concerns raised through the open reporting system.
The Compliance Investigator must be a self-starter, with ability to handle a large and varied caseload simultaneously and to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as proven record of being thorough, fair, and objective with attention to detail.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead and conduct independent investigations
- Carry out prompt, thorough, and objective investigations into alleged violations of law or company policy.
- Cases may involve any of GE Aerospace’s Spirit & Letter policies. For example, matters may concern complex questions involving respectful workplace, finance, conflict of interest, quality, sourcing, EHS, information technology and security, intellectual property, improper payments, competition law, and more
- Review and assess complaints and allegations and be able to develop and manage investigate plans and strategies
- Conduct concern raiser, witness, and subject interviews
- Conduct investigative research: including review and analyze all reliable and relevant information (i.e. emails, data files, invoices) including performing forensic analysis and reviewing GE Aerospace policies & procedures
- Provide oral briefings to senior leadership and functional owners on cases, and identify appropriate corrective actions
- Draft reports to ensure investigations are clearly and properly documented
- Maintain client relationships in the face of conflicting demands or directions and provide evidence-based conclusion and recommendation on sound diagnosis and information
- Know and understand all applicable legal and policy requirements pertaining to the conduct of investigations including in areas involving employee interviews, data privacy, labor and employment requirements, and more; monitor changes in such laws and policies and provide guidance to colleagues with respect to such changes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college and relevant experience in compliance investigations from within a highly regulated business sector.
- Professional experience in conducting workplace investigations
- Legal authorisation to work in the UK is required.
