Job Description- Great opportunity in Jetstar’s Technology Risk and Compliance team

As a Senior Compliance Analyst – Technology, you will be responsible for delivering to the compliance management frameworks that apply to Jetstar Technology, including but not limited to Technology policies, standards and guidelines, PCI DSS, Privacy and GDPR. The role is responsible for governance of Jetstar Technology’s resilience posture, by ensuring that disaster recovery and backup requirements are met by technology domains. The role will be governing technology risk assessments and Issue Management.
This role will support the consolidated portfolio of all compliance frameworks where Jetstar Technology plays a key role. The role will support the full lifecycle for compliance maintenance, providing quality services which both predict and meet the needs of Jetstar’s individual business units and the Qantas group. You will be responsible for executing the delivery of compliance programs, maintaining a high level of quality and efficiency.
In the role you will be required to:
- Support the delivery of all technology compliance activities in line with the business agenda.
- Contribute to the planning, delivery and governance of compliance activities against their respective goals and objectives, with consideration to minimising cost.
- Support the assessment and management of any changes to Jetstar’s compliance requirements or to support proactive response to emerging risks.
- Establish strong relationships with multiple stakeholders across multiple business divisions within the Qantas group
- Collaborate with business units to execute compliance activities, communicating and delivering the solutions, scope and content of the activities to deliver a successful outcome with maximum value.
- Address emerging risks and issues relevant to the compliance program
- Support the broader compliance team during external audits
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Degree in Business, IT or relevant on-the-job experience
- Experience working in cross functional risk and compliance programs and activities involving multiple and diverse business teams and stakeholders
- Demonstrated strong customer focus with the ability to build constructive and effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capability to interact effectively through formal and informal networks
- Ability to generate improvement ideas and strategies and translate into detailed approaches and plans
- Ability to prioritise and execute competing tasks across diverse teams to ensure deadlines are met
- Demonstrate strong compliance mindset, commitment to business improvement and risk management.
