Our Scoresby site has been proudly producing candy for over 50 years. Manufacturing approximately 35,000 tonnes annually of Pascall, The Natural Confectionery Company and Sour Patch Kids, we supply the Australian and New Zealand markets with some of the most loved confectionery brands in the region.
We are looking for a Capital Engineering Lead to join our Engineering team at Scoresby. Reporting to the Site Lead, this role is responsible for identifying capital opportunities, developing solutions, and executing projects to meet scope, schedule and cost targets. You will develop strategic future site capital plans, ensure best investment of capital funds, and act as a key technical expert on Candy technology. This is a pivotal leadership position requiring strong project management capabilities and the ability to influence across the business.
How you will contribute
- Identify and execute Productivity, Safety and Quality projects to support site performance
- Manage and deliver capital projects of up to $5M in accordance with Capital Procedures
- Monitor and control Capital Project performance against scope, schedule and cost targets
- Successfully integrate new projects into Operations and Maintenance
- Develop and maintain the site Technology Blueprint and strategic capital plans
- Provide technical expertise to Operations and Science & Technology functions
- Determine best practice via benchmarking with global Mondelēz sites
- Coach and develop other technical functions on executing projects
- Manage the site Capital Budget and approve purchase orders up to $10K
- Lead a team of two Senior Project Engineers

Work schedule:
This is an onsite role. You will be working 5 days a week from site with the flexibility to work weekends when required.
