As the Senior Compensation Analyst, you will analyze and evaluate the company’s compensation programs to ensure they are competitive and aligned with the organization’s overall strategy. Every day, you will be involved in providing insights and recommendations to enhance compensation structures and attract top talent.
To thrive in this role, you must be proficient in data analytics and database administration, proficient in Excel with attention to detail, able to manage multiple tasks effectively, a strong communicator, and able to build relationships with stakeholders and partners.
Here is what you will experience as a Senior Compensation Analyst:
Market Analysis and Evaluation:
- Research, analyze, and evaluate market data to provide insights to stakeholders.
- Participate in compensation surveys and benchmarking studies to ensure our pay practices align with the market.
Job Architecture and Evaluation:
- Review submitted job descriptions and intake forms to determine if new job profiles are needed.
- Determine job architecture alignment for each role within the organization based on job evaluation and market data.
Compensation Strategy and Guidance:
- Provide guidance and recommendations to HRBLs and leadership regarding compensation structures, pay policies, and incentive plans.
- Develop and maintain job descriptions, salary ranges, and pay policies for all positions within the organization.
Collaboration and Compliance:
- Collaborate with other HR functions to ensure the alignment and integration of compensation programs.
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
Program Administration and Improvement:
- Supports acquisitions by providing data analysis, job mapping, and coordinating with other functional areas to ensure a smooth transition of newly onboarded associates.
- Support administering incentive programs such as bonuses, commissions, and stock options.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of compensation programs and make recommendations for improvements.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Analyze compensation data and prepare reports to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, human resources management, or related field required
- 4 to 6 years’ experience in a compensation role
- Advanced Excel skills – including pivot tables, vlookups and xlookups
- Demonstrated learning agility and desire to learn
- Experience in survey participation and market data analysis
- Strong mathematical aptitude and analytical skills
- A collaborative mentality and ability to interact across multiple teams
- Ability to multi-task and independently manage project demands in a dynamic environment
- Experience working with an HRIS system (Ultipro, Workday, etc.), preferred
For this US-based position, the base pay range is $46,500.00 - $104,629.00 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
