As Senior Communications Manager, you will play a critical role in building and protecting the reputation of Novartis while elevating the patient voice across key therapeutic areas. In this highly visible role, you will lead integrated communication and patient advocacy strategies, partnering with internal and external stakeholders to deliver impactful campaigns, strengthen engagement, and advance healthcare outcomes. Job Description

·       Develop and execute integrated communication and patient advocacy strategies aligned with business and corporate priorities.

·       Lead disease awareness campaigns and coordinate cross-functional initiatives with Marketing, Medical, Excellence and Execution and Public Affairs teams.

·       Build and maintain strategic relationships with patient organizations, key opinion leaders, media, scientific societies, and policymakers.

·       Drive patient advocacy initiatives by embedding patient insights into business decisions and brand strategies.

·       Manage communication agencies and external partners, ensuring operational excellence, impact measurement, and return on investment.

·       Lead internal communications, associate engagement programs, and stakeholder communications across therapeutic areas.

Essential Requirements

·       Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, International Relations, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

·       Minimum five years of experience in communications, patient advocacy, public affairs, or corporate communications within the pharmaceutical industry.

·       Strong experience developing and executing strategic communication and stakeholder engagement plans.

·       Proven ability to manage budgets,  external vendors, and complex cross-functional projects.

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English.

·       Strong stakeholder management, business partnering, negotiation, and project management capabilities.

Desirable Requirements

·       Advanced degree in Communications, Public Affairs, Public Policy, Business Administration, or a related field.

·       Experience leading patient advocacy programs and engagement initiatives across multiple therapeutic areas.
