Moderna is growing its UK presence and seeks a Senior Commercial Operations Support to ensure operational excellence and seamless daily operations for the UK commercial team. This role will involve close collaboration with teams at the Moderna Innovation and Technology Centre (MITC) in Oxfordshire, as well as regional and global teams, external partners, and suppliers.

The successful candidate will coordinate business processes, streamline operations, and optimise performance, thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Here’s What You’ll Do:

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Develop and maintain processes to optimise commercial operations.

  • Lead procurement, budgeting, and vendor management in line with global standards.

  • Serve as the primary contact for operational processes and provide training.

  • Oversee integration and maintenance of IT systems and tools supporting operations.

  • Provide analytical and administrative support for planning, forecasting, and performance monitoring.

  • Develop and maintain commercial dashboards and reports to track KPIs.

  • Manage internal communications, MyModerna UK site, and distribution lists.

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Support the Resilience project team with administrative tasks: arranging meetings, managing Teams sites, coordinating reports, and note-taking.

  • Support planning and execution of events, Town Halls, conferences, and stakeholder meetings.

  • Collaborate on initiatives enhancing team dynamics, wellbeing, and engagement, including cultural events and volunteer days.

  • Manage office resources, liaising with facilities teams to maintain a safe and productive workspace.

  • Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including the ABPI Code of Practice.

What You’ll Need:

  • 5+ years’ experience in commercial operations or a related corporate role.

  • Proven ability to manage operational projects and deliver measurable outcomes.

  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, and procurement experience.

  • Proficiency with MS Office 365 and digital business tools; ERP/CRM familiarity is a plus.

  • Exceptional organisational, multitasking, and communication skills.

  • Personal drive, agility, and commitment to operational excellence.

  • This role is expected to be in office 70% of the time with flexibility to work from home up to 30%.
