About Us:
As part of the EMEA Group Finance, our Commercial Finance function plays a crucial role in supporting NRF leadership and wider stakeholder groups. We focus on improving firm profitability, competitiveness, and value for clients through financial leadership, timely insights, and initiatives designed to enhance commercial confidence and decision-making.
The Team:
The Commercial Finance function encompasses Finance Business Partnering, Pricing and Commercial Insights, and Finance Business Information and Reporting.
The Role:
As a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst, you will work closely with the Commercial Finance Team and the broader business to provide budget assurance, performance improvement, and proactive financial support in managing practice groups.
Your main responsibilities will include, however are not limited to:
- Preparing high-quality financial presentations and providing analysis and recommendations
- Supporting the resolution of follow-up actions resulting from business engagements
- Offering strategic financial leadership and proactive financial support
- Proactively managing the production of routine deliverables required by the Commercial Finance function ensuring accuracy and timeliness, while also proactively looking into ways to improve the efficiency of data generation
- Support on strategic pricing initiatives and commercial reviews of client pricing arrangements
- Working with the Finance, People and Culture and Resource Management teams (both locally and remotely) to ensure integrity and accuracy of data used by the Department, e.g. headcount, fee earner cost rates.
- Support the Financial Analysis Manager in mentoring, supervising and coordinating the workload of the Commercial Finance Analysts in the team
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have a relevant degree and/or are working to an Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Confident, with a positive can-do attitude
- Self-motivated, ambitious and driven
- As part of the role will be client-facing, experience in this area would be advantageous
- Excel in a customer-centric environment
- Have experience in financial analysis
- Possess strong analytical and presentation skills
- Can provide strategic financial leadership and support
- Have experience working with Power BI, Tableau and SQL is desirable
