CSI Aerospace, Inc., a subsidiary of HEICO Corporation specializing in the repair of air data probes and aircraft accessories is seeking a Senior CNC Machinist with a proven track record as a highly skilled machinist. In depth knowledge and understanding of complex blueprints and schematics, set up, programming and operation of CNC machines, and conformance to specifications.
The ideal candidates will have a deep knowledge of CNC machines and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance. Candidate should have a strong understanding of quality control analysis.
Job Qualifications:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Perform complex machining operations on a variety of materials
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and detailed drawing
- Monitors and adjusts schedule to respond to internal production requirements
- Troubleshoot parts and machine problems
- Coordinate with other departments to achieve company needs, work closely with engineers, supervisors, and other machinists to ensure parts meet design intent.
- Responsible for CSI’s tooling design and maintenance which includes New Product Development and Production tooling.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in a manufacturing environment
- Performs other related duties as required.

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Work Experience:
- Five (5) years related experience, Hands-on experience through apprenticeships or on-the-job training is essential while proficient in CNC technology and metalworking. Post-secondary certificates or associate degrees in machining or manufacturing are preferred. Experience operating a Swiss machine preferred, but not required.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk or hear; and required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
