Senior Cloud / Systems Administrator – Make an Immediate Impact on a High‑Visibility Agile Program

Responsibilities:
Platform & Cloud Engineering
Build and manage AWS infrastructure across multi-account, multi-environment landing zones
Design and implement system solutions that support mission and enterprise needs
Install, configure, deploy, and maintain servers and software across Windows and Linux
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure uninterrupted operations
Maintain secure, efficient cloud-hosted infrastructure adhering to best practices
Operations & Infrastructure Management
Lead system upgrades, IAVA patching, and STIG compliance
Troubleshoot outages and performance issues across compute, network, and storage
Implement multi‑region disaster recovery, backup automation, failover, and resilience strategies
Manage identity, access controls, firewalls, and backup policies
Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and policy guides
Collaboration & Delivery
Work within a SAFe Agile delivery model alongside application, data, and security teams
Support IaaS, IaC, networking, and security engineering efforts
Ensure systems meet contract requirements for performance, availability, and security
Qualifications:
Required:
US Citizenship is required and an active Secret Clearance
Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar infrastructure role
Strong verbal and written communication skills with cross‑functional teams
Hands‑on experience with servers, LAN/WAN networking, and patch management in virtual/cloud environments
Ability to interpret, distill, and document solution requirements
Self‑starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
Expertise working with Windows and Linux operating systems
Production-level Kubernetes/EKS and containerization experience (Docker/containerd, image building)
Active Directory and identity federation integration expertise
7+ years of related experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience
Security+ Certification
AWS Cloud Certifications
Desired:
Familiarity with Git, Jenkins CI/CD, Terraform, Docker
Experience with STIG compliance and security patching
Knowledge of AWS environments and cloud‑native services
Scripting experience (Shell, Perl, PowerShell) and automation technologies
Strong Terraform capability (modules, state management, reusable IaC) and Ansible

The proposed salary range for this position is:
