The Senior Cloud Operations Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing Convatec's cloud infrastructure and services to ensure high availability, security, and performance. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) like Terraform. The engineer will also develop and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis, and perform infrastructure cost analysis and optimization (FinOps). Collaboration with architecture, development, and PMO teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions will also be a key aspect of this position.
Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure configuration and compliance with configuration management tools.

• Full responsibility from infrastructure design, build and operate standpoint. 

• Assure Cloud operations being responsible for their operation. 

• Maintain and improve infrstructure-as-code (IaC) and deployment pipelines (e.g., Terraform) 

• Collaborates with IT security, to maintain systems without vulnerabilities when possible, and react if necessary. 

• Work with change requests & incident monitoring system (ServiceNow) 

• Is responsible for maintaining the integrity of Cloud Infra systems through change, and ensures systems can operate and respond effectively to fluctuating capacity demands. 

• Writing/updating technical design, build and process documentation .

• Provide technical support during disaster and Perform Root Cause Analysis.

• Perform Root Cause Analysis.
