SWIFT has established a cutting-edge Landing Zone in AWS, complemented by a comprehensive DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code operating model. This enables Agile application teams to operate autonomously while maintaining governance, at scale. As our cloud footprint expands—through both greenfield deployments and targeted migrations—we continue to evolve and scale our cloud infrastructure operations.
We are seeking Cloud Automation Engineers to join our Cloud Center of Enablement. Ideal candidates are passionate about designing robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions delivered as self-service products and services. Success in this role hinges on strong Infra DevOps capabilities, particularly in coding high-quality infrastructure automation. Key traits include intellectual curiosity, resilience in solving complex challenges, agility in learning new technologies, and a disciplined engineering mindset. A collaborative approach is essential.
While prior cloud experience—whether professional or self-taught—is highly valued, candidates with solid Infra DevOps experience in on-prem environments and the right mindset will be supported in mastering cloud infrastructure at scale.
In this role you will:
- Design and deliver secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Build CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools
- Automate onboarding and support for application teams
- Manage central services and Landing Zone governance
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and optimize performance
- Develop tools for monitoring, deployment, and cost analysis
What will make you successful?
We are seeking professionals with:
- 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and automation
- Proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, Python/Java/Node.js
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git)
- Solid Linux and networking fundamentals
- Familiarity with AWS services (VPC, EC2, EKS, S3, IAM, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Kubernetes/Docker experience
- AWS security tools (GuardDuty, Security Hub, etc.)
- Knowledge of AWS Landing Zone architecture
