Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer (5-8 years) to join our engineering team supporting enterprise-scale cloud and data platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in AWS, Python, Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK), and CI/CD.
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native solutions using AWS CDK (Python).
- Independently own complex migration and modernization initiatives from planning through production deployment.
- Develop and maintain Python-based services, APIs, and automation scripts.
- Build and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS services, following security and scalability best practices.
- Lead migration of CI/CD pipelines from GitLab CI to GitHub Actions, including reusable workflows, workflow_call, matrix strategies, and self-hosted runners.
- Design and implement reusable Infrastructure-as-Code components to improve deployment efficiency.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to define scalable cloud solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.
- Review code, mentor engineers, and promote engineering best practices across the team.
- Drive automation initiatives to improve deployment reliability and operational efficiency.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python.
- Strong experience with AWS CDK (Python).
