Senior Cloud Development Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable and reliable micro-services for the Gateway Service, focusing on performance, security, and availability.
• Contribute to the evolution of the Gateway Service architecture, incorporating new technologies and patterns to meet growing demands.
• Collaborate with other engineers on the team to implement new features and enhancements.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
• Work closely with QA engineers to ensure thorough testing and validation of new releases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, working with support and operations teams to minimize customer impact.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, particularly in cloud computing and micro-services.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications:

• B.E/B.Tech or M.Tech in in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend systems and cloud technologies.
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying services using C and Go.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and API gateways.
• Familiarity with networking protocols and security best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with DaaS or VDI technologies.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
