As a Senior Cloud Architect within our Managed Cloud Services division, you will spearhead the architecture, implementation, and optimization of cloud-based solutions, with a strong focus on AWS environments. This role demands deep technical expertise in cloud technologies and Linux administration, requiring direct client interaction to deliver scalable and secure cloud architectures.
Responsibilities:
Advanced Solution Design and Architecture
o Design and implement sophisticated cloud solutions using AWS, focusing on services such as EC2, VPC, DataSync, Backup, EFS, FSx, Systems Manager, EventBridge, S3, and KMS.
o Develop and optimize cloud infrastructures, ensuring they meet performance, security, and cost-efficiency standards.
o Apply expert knowledge of Linux administration to enhance system performance and security.
Technical Leadership and Implementation
o Lead critical projects independently, overseeing all aspects of deployment and operations.
o Utilize extensive scripting and automation capabilities, particularly with Bash, Python and Ansible, to improve system manageability.
o Mentor technical teams, sharing advanced knowledge and promoting a culture of excellence in cloud solutions.
Security and Compliance Oversight
o Design and manage secure architectures, meeting rigorous compliance and security requirements.
o Facilitate the acquisition and maintenance of security clearances, ensuring adherence to stringent security protocols.
·Client Engagement and Advisory
o Act as a senior technical advisor, conducting high-level consultations and steering client meetings to align technical solutions with business objectives.
