Job DescriptionWe are seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Client Partner to lead our engagement with South Korea's top advertisers and media agencies. This is a key commercial role where you will own the strategy for this critical segment, acting as a trusted, senior advisor to our most important clients. You will be responsible for driving significant revenue growth and solidifying Nielsen's position as the indispensable measurement partner in a dynamic and rapidly evolving media landscape.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Driving Growth & Strategy
As a core member of the Enterprise Growth Team, you will be instrumental in expanding our footprint and achieving ambitious revenue targets:
Strategic Planning: Develop and own the commercial strategy and sales plan for the advertisers and agencies segment in South Korea, identifying key accounts and high-growth opportunities.
Revenue Ownership: Take full ownership of quarterly and annual revenue targets for your portfolio, driving growth through new business acquisition, strategic upselling, and long-term renewals.
Deal Leadership: Lead the end-to-end sales cycle for major accounts, from initial pitch and proposal development to negotiating and closing complex, high-value deals.
Pipeline & Forecast Management: Own and manage the sales pipeline and forecasting process for your segment, providing accurate and strategic insights to leadership.
Go-to-Market Strategy: Partner with marketing and product teams to shape and execute go-to-market strategies for new solutions tailored to the agency and advertiser market.
Market Expertise: Serve as a leading internal expert on South Korea advertising ecosystem, competitive landscape, and the evolving needs of both agencies and brands.
Client Engagement
You will be responsible for building and nurturing strong client partnerships, ensuring maximum value delivery:
Executive Relationship Management: Cultivate and own strong, trust-based relationships with senior executives (VP, C-level) at key client accounts and industry bodies.
Strategic Counsel & Solution Expertise: Develop a profound understanding of Nielsen's solutions to offer holistic, consultative insights, unifying diverse media data into an impactful story for clients.
Service Alignment & Product Feedback: Collaborate with Nielsen's service and operations teams to ensure seamless client delivery and provide valuable market feedback to product teams for future enhancements.
Strategic Portfolio Collaboration: Work with regional and global commercial teams to ensure the right portfolio of solutions is available and positioned effectively for clients in South Korea.
Account Intelligence: Maintain an insightful overview of your clients' business objectives and challenges to proactively identify opportunities for partnership and growth.
Experience: You have 8+ years of experience in a senior commercial, sales, or partnership role, with a strong background working within or selling to media agencies or advertisers.
Local Market Knowledge: You possess a deep understanding of and an established network within South Korea media agency and advertiser community.
Commercial Acumen: You have a proven track record of successfully leading complex sales cycles and consistently exceeding significant revenue targets.
Audience Measurement: While not mandatory, experience with audience measurement solutions, data analytics, or market research is a significant advantage.
Language Skills: Business fluency in both Korean and English is essential
