About the position

The Senior Change Analyst plays a critical role in the successful delivery of organisational change initiatives in the College of Vocational Education. This position is responsible for identifying and documenting business requirements, conducting comprehensive change impact assessments, and translating complex information into actionable insights that support informed decision-making and strategic outcomes.

Working closely with Directors, senior leaders, project teams, and key stakeholders, the Senior Change Analyst leads the development and implementation of change management approaches that facilitate the successful adoption of new processes, systems, and ways of working. The role involves facilitating workshops, analysing current and future state processes, assessing stakeholder impacts, and developing targeted engagement and change strategies to support sustainable outcomes.

As a trusted advisor and change specialist, the Senior Change Analyst leverages strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities to navigate complex organisational environments. The role contributes to the delivery of strategic initiatives by fostering collaboration, building stakeholder readiness, and ensuring change activities are aligned with organisational objectives. Working as part of a dynamic and high-performing team, the incumbent will play a key role in enabling successful transformation outcomes across the University and may also support broader strategic initiatives within enabling services.

To be successful in this position, you’ll have:

Excellence in analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesise complex information and influence positive outcomes across diverse stakeholder groups.  High level of digital literacy and proficiency in relevant technologies, including the Microsoft suite, Promapp or similar process mapping tools, and experience with business system support, business requirement gathering, and project documentation.  Experience in project delivery and business change, including the identification and validation of change impact assessments Excellent communication and influencing skills and the ability to facilitate discussions to draw out information, synthesise and summarise.  Capability to design, develop and execute stakeholder engagement plans, including effective facilitation of workshops, communications planning, and risk identification and mitigation in support of organisational change.  Capacity to coach, lead, and support change agents and champions, applying kindness, patience and empathy, and modelling best practice change management behaviours.  Experience in project and/or change management in tertiary education sector

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree and/or qualifications and experience.
