Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Product Owner for one or more formulary management applications, providing strategic direction and day-to-day oversight of product capabilities
- Act as the primary voice of the business and end users, ensuring product priorities align with organizational goals and customer needs
- Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap to Agile delivery teams and stakeholders
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to support successful solution delivery
- Evaluate business value, develop use cases, and prioritize the product backlog to maximize value delivery and achieve targeted outcomes
- Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and prioritization activities to ensure development efforts align with business objectives
- Partner closely with Scrum Masters, business stakeholders, and technology teams to identify and resolve impediments impacting delivery
- Foster collaboration across Product Owners, Scrum teams, and cross-functional partners to support enterprise-scale Agile initiatives
- Facilitate and actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and demonstrations
- Ensure compliance with governance and audit requirements by supporting the creation and maintenance of required documentation and deliverables
- Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and Agile best practices to continuously improve product management and delivery processes
- Collaborate with business and technology partners to assess incoming enhancement requests, estimate effort, and determine implementation priorities
- Work directly with stakeholders to understand business challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and define solution requirements
- Analyze operational processes, user feedback, and performance metrics to identify enhancements that improve efficiency, user experience, and business outcomes
- Support release planning, user acceptance testing, and production readiness activities to ensure successful product deployments
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business, operational, and technology partners to drive alignment and product success
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of PBM or pharmacy experience
- 3+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst or Product Owner
- Experience with project methodology (requirements, design, development, test and implementation)
- Experience presenting to stakeholders, written release notes, documentations of requirements, etc.
- Experience leading project workstream, deliverables, timelines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Agile process and principles
- Client facing experience
- Experience with formulary management and drug data
- Experience with RxClaim or RxBuilder
