Role purpose
We are seeking a highly skilled C++ Developer with a background in AWS (Amazon Web Services) and containerization technologies. The ideal candidate will work on the development, deployment, and scaling of high-performance, distributed systems. You will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and deploying applications in cloud-based environments, leveraging modern development practices like microservices and containerization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable C++ applications.
- Design, implement, and manage distributed systems using AWS services (e.g., EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, CloudFormation).
- Utilize containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) to develop and deploy microservices.
- Perform debugging, performance tuning, and optimization of C++ applications while following best practices and coding standards.
- Create and maintain unit tests to ensure the quality of the codebase and reduce technical debt.
- Leverage Katalon Studio for automated testing of web applications and APIs.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical documentation.
Knowledge, Experience & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in C++ development with a focus on performance, concurrency, and low-latency systems.
- Strong experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, etc.
- Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Linux environments and shell scripting.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Google Test, Boost.Test).
