Job Summary

Point32Health is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our organization as Sr. Business Systems Analyst. The Sr. Business Systems Analyst is responsible for completing complex business systems and data analytics in support of corporate and departmental objectives.

Job Description

  • Conduct high-level business analysis involving complex business requirements and processes. Develop detailed requirements and related documentation. Participate in business analysis project planning and management (document & maintain plans, manage issue logs & prepares project documentation).
  • Develop and present recommendations for design and assess operational impact of program designs and modifications.
  • Design and implement operational processes, perform system setup validation, execute test procedures, lead efforts to triage newly reported issues, conduct root cause analyses and facilitate the resolution of confirmed issues.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external business partners to achieve corporate objectives.
  • Prepare and distribute reports, including educational materials.
  • Perform out-of-the-box thinking, collaborate with others, and make a difference every day!
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

A Bachelor's degree in health science, business, IT or related field or equivalent experience is required, along with a minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience working with and supporting business applications in a health insurance environment.

Knowledge of health plan operations, federal and state regulations, claims processing, referrals & authorizations and utilization management are a plus. 

The qualified candidate should be resilient, collaborative, flexible, and able to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously.
