Your Team
As a Senior Business Systems Analyst on/in Digital Experience Journey, you will partner with product owners, tech leads, designers, engineers and delivery professionals to improve MYPRU & IDEX applications. This role will specifically support authenticated customer experiences and authentication capabilities. You will act as the primary interface between Technology and specific business areas, identifying business unit requirements, creating project and process specifications, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets to solve sophisticated business problems, deploy innovative products, services and experiences to delight our customers! In addition to applied analytical and technical experience, you will bring excellent problem solving, communication and teamwork skills, along with agile ways of working, strong business insight, an inclusive leadership attitude and a continuous learning focus to all that you do.
Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical Day
Support the Director Business Systems Analyst and Product Owner setting ambitious and clear product vision, and communicating ‘the story’ effectively to key stakeholders and the rest of the team Beginning to identify opportunities to provide input to the team & coach others with occasional guidance
Works on solving extremely complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variables
Collaborate with product owners in understanding needs and defining feature stories, tech leads in defining technical design and other team members to understand the system end-to-end and deliver robust solutions that bring about business impact
Partner with compliance, UX, engineering, operations, and customer service teams to define secure, customer-friendly authentication experiences across web and mobile journeys.
Create current-state and future-state journey maps, process flows, decision trees, API/data-flow documentation, user stories, acceptance criteria, and traceability matrices to support delivery of authenticated digital experiences.
Use production incident trends, customer feedback, analytics, authentication failure data, and service metrics to identify root causes, prioritize improvements, and strengthen the end-to-end login and authenticated experience.
Work on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variables and may impact future concepts, products or technologies
Works on extremely complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of often complex variables related to technology and/or data. Exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Own the end-to-end product strategy from inception and determine business value once solution enters production
Ensure alignment of product features and stories, i.e., review, give feedback, and prioritize user stories in line with product vision
Understands the vision and owns aspects of the product management/roadmap activities
The Skills & Expertise You Bring
Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering; Analytics or experience in related fields
Experience with agile development methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
Knowledge of business concepts, tools and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business
Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an on-going basis through self-initiative and tackling challenges
Excellent problem solving, communication and collaboration skills
Experience supporting authenticated digital applications such as customer dashboards, profile/contact management, secure document access, alerts, transactional servicing, and cross-platform customer journeys.
Ability to translate authentication business needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, edge cases, negative scenarios, operational controls, and measurable success metrics such as login success rate, abandonment, failure reason, call reduction, and customer effort.
Familiarity with APIs, event logging, data mapping, system integrations, browser/mobile authentication behaviours, and testing approaches needed to validate secure, reliable, and accessible authenticated experiences.
Applied experience and/or expertise with several of the following:
Product Management: Planning, Progress Monitoring and Status Reporting, including visualization of works; Scaling Agile – Organizing, synchronizing multiple teams setup Estimations, ROI, project life cycle
Effective Communication: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. Ability to facilitate dialogue at the right level of detail for all members of the Agile team.

Financial Acumen: Knowledge of understanding of financial concepts, tools and processes and how financial metrics are used to monitor and drive outcomes. Includes understanding of company accounts/metrics (ex: balance sheet, profit/loss, cash flow, budget & forecast).
Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
Preferred qualifications: experience with authenticated customer portals, customer journey mapping, production incident analysis, and financial services or insurance digital servicing.
