In this role, you will:
- Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives within the Business Intelligence functional area and contribute to large-scale planning related to business intelligence deliverables that enable clear and consistent delivery of insights
- Review and analyze moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of data interpretation and visualization methods to create diagnostic analytics and dashboards
- Independently resolve moderately complex issues and lead team to meet data-related deliverables as it contributes to developing intuitive compelling outputs used to inform decisions and strategy
- Leverage a solid understanding of data structures, domain specific knowledge, and the end-user experience to impact the final data visualization product, which includes dashboards, reports, insights, or analyses
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to achieve goals related to assessing business needs and producing actionable insights and trends leveraging data visualization and business intelligence
- Lead projects, teams and serve as a mentor for lower-level staff
- Work to drive adoption of insights and metrics as a resource for the company to enable a data-driven decision-making approach
- 4+ years of business intelligence and data visualization experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled, self-driven, results-oriented senior analytics consultant to support the data and analytics needs of the Chief Administrative Office (CAO). This is a business partner facing role and is responsible for providing reporting and analytic solutions that provide actionable insights to the line of business and enterprise function partners. This role includes understanding use case requirements, performing data analysis, developing semantic data models to support analytics and AI/ML model development and effective use of data visualization, reporting/dashboarding and AI-enabled BI solutions to enable explainability, exploratory analytics and actionable insights.
We are looking for a high performer to join our team and help us solve challenging and interesting business problems through rigorous data analysis and visualization. In this highly consultative and visible role, you will support business intelligence and analytics projects for leadership in key CAO functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements for use cases.
- Develop and deliver end to end high performing reporting solutions and data analysis
- Perform exploratory analysis to identify the co-relations existing in the data and generate insights.
- Ability to leverage data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and alternative data manipulation and front-end solutions to deliver data analysis results and insights.
- Capable of performing ad-hoc analyses and drill down into data inconsistencies and perform root cause analysis for unusual trends.
- Work closely with Business and Technology Partners to generate new BI solutions or modify current work products to optimize capabilities and improve efficiency
- Strong experience in evaluating different types of AI/ML outputs and models (recommender systems, similarity scoring, classification and regression).
- Should be able to break down complex business problems into sub-tasks that can be solved with BI and analytics to enable decision making on a scale.
- Should have good grasp on statistical concepts and empirical methods that drive post-modelling decisions like sorting, ranking, selection etc.
- Be exceptional at communicating and translating model algorithms and their outputs to non-technical users and stakeholders, through visualization and BI tools like Power BI, Tableau.
- Ability to integrate AI-enabled features (e.g. Copilot for Power BI) into end-user consumption interfaces to enable natural language led analysis for business users.
- Fluent in agile ways of working and agile project management practices. Should be comfortable to create efficient user stories, and other agile project artifacts.
- 6+ (overall experience) years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling (Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python); or a Master's degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, computer sciences,
- 5+ years of SQL, ETL, BI and PowerBI/Tableau programming experience

- Proficiency in designing and implementing complex and interactive dashboards with BI tools like Power BI (including complex DAX implementations, embedded Power Apps and Power Automate workflows, Copilot for Power BI), Tableau
- Experience in designing semantic data layers that power user centric dashboards/other consumption interfaces for analytics and AI/ML solutions, enabled with self-serve capabilities and embedded actionability.
- Strong capability in using heterogeneous sources for deriving complex KPIs using Tableau, Power BI.
- Understand high-level business objectives and continually align the BI/Reporting roadmap to needs of the business.
- Experience on other BI tools like MSTR , BO , SSRS, Qlik will have an advantage
- Strong oral and written communication and consultative skills.
- Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of research, analysis, data aggregations, and reconciliation processes
- Ability to perform trend analysis, forecasting and pattern recognition, exploratory data analysis and insights

- Experience in data cleansing, validation, and transformation logic using Alteryx and SSMS.
- Advanced exploratory data analysis skills using Python, SQL, excel etc., ability to write, read, and optimize queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
- Experience with data environments like Oracle, Teradata, Sql server, HDFS, GCP
- Designing and implementing enterprise data and reporting architectures, proficiency in semantic data modeling for BI and AI/ML solutions
- Data integration and clean up/preparation of data
- Experience with structured data and semi-structured text or Excel files
- Familiarity with Agile processes and Atlassian software (Jira).
- Exposure to data science, ML and AI concepts
- Strong collaboration & problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills (presentation and narrative skills)
- Ability to translate analytical data into useful business insights through presentation and storytelling
- Self-driven and passionate about continuous learning
- Knowledge of functional area such as risk, marketing, operations or supply chain in banking industry would be an added advantage.
