As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will contribute to the development of data strategies, data systems, and reporting solutions supporting global Support department. This key role is responsible for backend and frontend BI development, including Tabular models, OLAP cubes, ETL processes, and Power BI dashboards, covering stakeholder needs and supporting operational and management processes.
The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams and combines strong BI engineering skills with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, reliable analytics solutions..

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Functional and technical design of BI solutions including user interfaces, data architecture, and data processing
  • Development and support of data marts, data warehouses, and OLAP cubes, including both new solutions and existing environments
  • Development of Power BI dashboards, paginated reports, and ad-hoc analytical solutions
  • Day-to-day interaction with business stakeholders, analysts, developers, and DBAs to define requirements and propose solutions that fit business needs
  • Responsible for collecting, analysing, and providing business data and metrics for Support department
  • Establish succinct, well-defined, and traceable business metrics and reporting used to measure and manage performance
  • Reconcile data between multiple data sources (e.g., Salesforce, SQL Server, Excel) to avoid discrepancies
  • Support end-of-period and operational reporting processes
  • Maintain and improve existing reporting platforms and analytics solutions
  • Communicate effectively across departments on BI and analytics topics, including documentation, presentations, and user enablement

WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • 4+ years of working experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or related roles
  • 4+ years of software development or BI development experience
  • Proven business acumen with the ability to merge technical and business requirements into consumable solutions
  • Strong technical skills in:
  • Database design
  • SQL (T-SQL)
  • ETL / SSIS
  • SSRS / paginated reporting
  • Analysis Services (SSAS) – Tabular and Multidimensional
  • OLAP cubes
  • Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboards)
  • Experience with database technologies, data architectures, data warehouses, OLAP cubes, and data modelling patterns
  • Experience working with complex and varied data sources and datasets
  • Good knowledge of CRM and ERP systems (Salesforce experience is a strong plus)
  • Knowledge of business metrics related to subscription-based and perpetual products
  • Experience with technical specifications development and requirements gathering
  • Experience working in team-oriented, agile, and collaborative environments
  • Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient communication and interpersonal skills

DESIRED

  • Python knowledge
  • Source control systems (Git, Subversion, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics and marketing automation platforms

Skills Required

  • 3+ years experience in Business Intelligence with Power BI
  • Experience with SSMS or equivalent database management
  • Experience with SQL Server Integration Services
  • Experience using SQL and Excel for data analysis
  • Knowledge of Python is desirable
