Seeking a dedicated professional to enhance credit risk decision-making through quantitative and qualitative data analysis of patterns, insights, and trends for all lending products. Responsibilities include delivering strategic insights into lending product performance, measuring business impact, preparing professional presentations for senior management, and leading business optimization efforts. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in data querying and visualization tools, and communicating complex insights effectively.
Responsibilities- Collect, aggregate, and analyze data from multiple sources, including structured and unstructured data sets, to drive insights into credit risk
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns and prepare ongoing reports and data visualizations to support business decisions
- Lead projects to understand requirements and propose key analytical solutions to drive effective decision-making and influence business objectives
- Produce actionable reports that demonstrate key performance indicators, identify areas of improvement for current operations, and show root cause analysis of problems
- Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, dashboards, and BI solutions
- Collaborate with multiple business units and senior management to accomplish business unit objectives
- Effectively communicate data outcomes to business stakeholders and leadership
- Mentor and guide less experienced analysts
- Perform other duties as assigned
- 4+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting
- Complete knowledge and understanding of business area/specialization
- Significant experience that demonstrates the ability to research, compile, and document data, business processes, and workflow
- Advanced knowledge of standard ETL tools and techniques
- Advanced knowledge of data warehousing, data cleaning, and other analytical techniques required for data usage
- Advanced skill in complex data manipulation across multiple tables
- Effective in using statistical methods, mathematical techniques, forecasting, cost-benefit analysis
- Skill communicating data analysis and visualizations to nontechnical and senior audiences
- Intermediate skill in utilizing work products to tell a story through appropriate balance of visualizations, design aesthetics, and words
- Advanced SQL, R, Python, SAS, or related analytical tool skills
- Advanced Tableau, Power BI, or related data visualization tool skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computers Science, Engineering, or in a related field
