Senior Business Immigration Analyst

Job Description

As part of a high-performing immigration team, this role will be an excellent platform to strengthen your technical knowledge of Thailand immigration law and regulations. You will be an integral part of the coordination of visa processes and formulation of immigration strategy for a variety of Fragomen clients and take on a collaborative and consultative approach to casework, directly sharing knowledge and advice with clients.  Your day-to-day responsibilities will entail client-facing advisory work, attending to the administrative aspect of case work, collaborating with your team, and any work assigned by your Manager. 
RESPONSIBILITIES

• As a member of a client team, adopt a client-centric approach, to effectively support and coordinate immigration services, including drafting and filing all types of work visa applications/ petitions with government agencies for a wide array of clients across diverse industries and maintain a healthy workload (proportionate to the team) 

• Maintain relationships and trust with assigned client contacts with team 

• Act as primary contact for standard immigration questions, such as processes and timelines, for multiple clients in your portfolio, demonstrating reliability and building credibility 

• Partner with team members to provide proper case coverage in each other’s absence 

• As required, support senior team members or Manager in providing white-glove service to VIP assignees 

• Develop essential working knowledge Thailand immigration laws and processes, with continuous self-study and research (in collaboration with the team and as assigned by your Manager) 

• Assist senior team members in ad hoc team projects and client-specific initiatives 

• Utilize case management systems to manage priorities and to maintain healthy case status  

• Coordinate with administrative team to ensure timely and comprehensive case updates within Fragomen Connect  

• Support and coordinate with billing teams to ensure timely excellent and timely billing processes

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business English, Law or related field 

• Fluent in English language communication and written skills 

• Comes with 1 to 2 years’ work experiences. Relevant work experience in the immigration field preferred.   

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office program 

• Reliable and conscientious with a good eye for detail, possesses a client service mentality and demonstrates strong analytical and judgment skills 

• Demonstrates an understanding of the firm’s service ethics and executes role with a respect for firm values which include: a business orientation, agility, innovation and confidentiality
