The role ⚡

📍 London (Hybrid) | 🤝 3 days in the office | 💰Competitive salary + uncapped OTE

This is a senior IC role for an experienced 360 sales professional. You'll run the full sales cycle from outreach through to issued loan, managing the borrower relationship for the long haul. This is a fast-paced, phone-driven role built for high-performers who thrive on volume. You’lll turn outbound conversations into long-term funding partnerships and customers who keep coming back.

  • Engage, nurture, and close a high-quality pipeline of SME prospects, utilising data-driven lists provided directly to you, unlocking revenue through outbound execution and consultative selling - with no cold business development required!

  • Manage the entire commercial lifecycle end-to-end, independently understanding business goals and structuring financial solutions that set our borrowers up to win

  • Build and sustain long-term relationships with business owners, staying close to them throughout their lifecycle, to become their go-to trusted funding partner, driving a compounding pipeline of repeat funding

  • Pitch the Funding Circle proposition compellingly against alternative lending options directly to business owners

  • Consistently hit and exceed your monthly targets, driving company growth whilst directly impacting the UK economy

  • Mentor junior colleagues, contributing to lifting performance across the team and to championing our collaborative sales culture

  • Proven success in B2B sales, within commercial finance or SME lending

  • Proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets

  • Confident running the entire sales cycle independently, with equal capability in both prospecting and closing

  • Highly organised approach to managing a busy pipeline, keeping deals at multiple stages accurate and moving forward

  • Exceptional telephone skills - you build rapport quickly, nurture relationships over time, and simplify complex products for non-finance audiences

  • Resilient, coachable, and motivated by uncapped earning potential

  • Confident using approved Generative AI tools to enhance your output and find a better way of working
