RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a newly created role with flexibility to be based either in UL Solutions office in the ASEAN region. The successful candidate will join a team of talented professionals in the renewable energy industry, delivering world-class services to a diverse range of clients, including developers, manufacturers, financiers, bankers, and investors. This role involves developing new clients, promoting UL Solutions' services, and maintaining strong customer relationships. Additionally, the candidate will manage internal processes and resources to ensure customer satisfaction.

【Primary duties will include】
  • Identify and develop new client relationships within the renewable energy, particularly wind energy sector.
  • Promote UL Solutions' services to potential clients, tailoring presentations to meet their specific needs.
  • Develop wind energy assessment-related solutions with regional customers.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing renewable energy customers in the region.
  • Liaise and coordinate with the regional project execution team to ensure smooth project handover.
  • Understand customers' requirements and provide mutually agreeable solutions.
  • Coordinate internal commercial and legal processes to successfully close deals.
  • Oversee project delivery, coordinating with internal teams to meet timelines and quality standards.
  • Manage internal processes and resources efficiently to support project goals and client expectations.
  • Represent UL Solutions at conferences and business development meetings.
  • Ensure the use of best practices and apply lessons learned from previous projects.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or related areas.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience within the renewable energy industry.
  • Demonstrated ability in key technical areas including: Information, Data and Intelligence; Systematically Managing Customer Relationships and Pursuits; Strategy and Market Orientation; and Managing an Opportunity Pipeline of Business.
  • Ability to sell at the highest level with a compelling value-add strategy approach.
  • Detailed understanding of the applicable industry product lines and target markets.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably within the wind energy (renewable energy) sector.
  • Strong project management skills with a successful track record of project delivery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of wind energy assessment, wind energy technologies and industry trends.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and project management tools.
