The Senior Business Development Manager will develop and execute service strategies for profitable growth, collaborate with product managers, evaluate market conditions, recommend new products, and enhance internal processes. They will also work with various teams to create sales tools and ensure alignment with business objectives.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  1. Develop, champion and execute new service strategies that ensure profitable growth that meets the businesses' desired goals.
  2. Collaborate with regional product managers on product mix assessment, market share evaluation, competitive analysis, commercialization of new concepts and market acceptance of new services.
  3. Collaborate with regional stakeholders to ensure new service development remains on time and on budget.
  4. Evaluate, advocate for and set key product priorities in line with the business strategy and objectives.
  5. Implement market research strategies based on customer and market requirements that evaluate Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats.
  6. Recommend new products for development based on customer/market needs and business goals.
  7. Implement the tools and processes needed to define the go to market strategy and vision for new services.
  8. Drive continuous improvement in the team by examining internal processes and identifying and executing on opportunities to streamline and create synergies throughout the COU.
  9. Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, speed, innovation, excellence and fun while continuously elevating the quality and caliber of the COU.
  10. Work with new and potential customers to understand their needs and the business value that they will derive from using our platforms.
  11. Work closely with Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing, Professional Services and Customer Service groups to develop world-class sales tools, templates, product collateral, white papers, customer case studies, and sales presentations.
  12. Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
  13. Performs other duties as directed.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelors degree) in Business Administration, Marketing or a related disciplines plus generally five years of experience in highest value corporate account management or eight years of experience in Marketing and/or Sales area with account management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate, acquire and manage high value customer accounts.
  • Ability to sell at the highest level with a compelling value-add strategy approach.
  • Detailed understanding of the applicable industry product lines and target markets.
