The Senior Business Development Manager OEM (d/f/m) is part of the Routine Product Group in Life Science and Applied Business Unit, a cross-functional team built to turn customer insight into innovation, commercialization, and lifecycle execution across Leica Microsystems’ routine portfolio. Designed around market focus, speed, and accountability, the organization gives leaders clear ownership and strong cross-functional access to drive measurable business impact.
This position reports to the Senior Manager Workflows and will be fully remote.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Define and execute OEM strategy, ensuring governance, performance tracking, and delivery of revenue and margin targets.
- Drive OEM business development, managing the pipeline from opportunity identification to conversion and growth.
- Lead commercial structuring, pricing, and contract negotiations to optimize margins and manage risk.
- Own OEM customer relationships, aligning cross-functional teams to ensure execution, delivery performance, and business reviews.
- Act as technical and operational interface, translating customer needs into solutions and supporting delivery, compliance, and enablement activities.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Degree in science, engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Multiple years of commercial experience (Sales, Marketing, or Product Management) in an international high-tech environment.
- Strong OEM business development expertise, analytical judgment, and ability to solve complex problems; excellent communication and negotiation skills.
