As a Senior Business Development Manager for Edge Computing, you will have a key role in our ambitious journey. You will focus on our innovative products, IGX and Jetson, and promote growth in Tokyo’s dynamic market.

What you'll be doing:

  • Take charge of revenue expansion and pipeline development in IGX and Jetson, working in close cooperation with internal and partner sales representatives throughout Japan.

  • Develop comprehensive business growth strategies. These include Go-To market plans, competitor analysis, and customer targeting. Build a strong partner ecosystem by engaging with co-selling partners and system integrators. Collaborate with product teams, vertical and account sales, solution architects, marketing, and partners.

  • Manage opportunities and revenue by working closely with sales, partners, and sales operations to ensure accurate revenue results, forecasting, pipelines, and reporting.

  • Provide essential support for the successful completion of opportunities, involving headquarters members when necessary.

  • Stay updated with the latest product information and disseminate it to internal sales and partners to enable demand creation and sales.

  • Lead promotional initiatives by crafting success stories, managing digital marketing, and presenting at public events to speed up the adoption of IGX and Jetson. Collaborate closely with partners and the marketing team.

What we need to see:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; a Master’s degree is desirable.

  • 8+ years of sales/presales experience in embedded systems and/or edge services.

  • Strong relationship-building skills with customers and partners.

  • Proven experience in building a partner ecosystem and delivering strong business outcomes.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences within partners and customers.

  • A passionate and self-motivated individual with a strong interest in business strategy, collaboration skills, integrity, and accountability. Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with outstanding problem-solving, written, verbal, and presentation skills.

  • Proficient in English for email and video conferences. Proficiency in Japanese is a must.

  • Intellectual flexibility and a track record of successfully growing penetration for innovative technology-based solutions. If you fit this profile, we’d love to hear from you!

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Effective leadership history in strategy execution and business growth.

  • Deep knowledge or experience in manufacturing, robotics, video surveillance systems, Data Analytics, ML/DL, and advanced generative AI technologies.

  • Experience with Omniverse, ISAAC, and Metropolis.

  • Proven success in developing and accomplishing sales strategies resulting in excellent revenue contributions.
