About the Role
As Senior Business Development Director, you will lead the growth of Commercial Services across the BDR Group. Reporting to the Global Head of Aftersales, your primary mission is to establish and drive a global commercial engine from a service perspective—ensuring consistency, maturity, and full alignment with our equipment sales organization.
This role is central to achieving our long-term service ambitions and transformation growth goals. You’ll define service sales policies, manage strategic planning and pipeline development, and build a high-performing global service sales network.
This is a new role to the business as part of our growth plans. So your experience to scope out requirements and build a new function within our Aftersales department will be key to our success.
Key Responsibilities will include :
Drive Aftersales Growth
Build and scale a global commercial services function within the Aftersales organization.
Support country teams in achieving service revenue goals and aligning offers post-acquisition.
Act as global Key Account Manager for cross-country commercial customers.
Develop Strategy & Governance
Co-develop the Aftersales strategy with the Head of BA Aftersales / Commercial and central portfolio teams.
Define and implement global SOPs, pricing frameworks, and commercial playbooks.
Identify and lead initiatives to achieve financial and customer satisfaction targets.
Lead Global Alignment
Build and manage a virtual global service sales network.
Ensure alignment between service and equipment sales pipelines.
Drive CRM and process maturity across clusters.
Monitor & Improve Performance
Establish performance dashboards and KPIs for service sales.
Collaborate with the CoE to harmonize pricing, standards, and tools.
Oversee NPS tracking and customer satisfaction improvement plans.

About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
10+ years’ experience in commercial or service sales leadership within HVAC, heating, automotive, or similar industries.
Strong understanding of service sales models and installer networks.
Proven ability to build and scale teams across multiple geographies.
Experience driving best-practice implementation and organizational change.
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Strategic mindset with strong analytical and commercial acumen.
Fluency in English; other European languages are an advantage.
Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
