As a Senior Business Development Associate, you will be in charge of acquiring top-tier clients & identifying new business opportunities. This position will report to the Business Development Manager. We are seeking a confident individual with a strong drive for excellence to help grow our business.

What you’ll do:
- Outbound sales and lead sourcing: Identify potential clients and conduct market research of the prospective clients business (B2B Clients), acquire and onboard business users by maintaining a healthy pipeline of leads, and ensure sales targets are achieved.
- Negotiation and closing of deals: Lead contract negotiations to establish a strong working relationship with our local partners to ensure mutual growth of the partnership.
- Client relationship management: Ensure excellent customer service by understanding client needs, responding promptly to queries, and offering effective solutions.
- Business analysis: Track sales trends, provide in-depth data analysis on products and business users, and identify opportunities for demand growth.
- Sales operations: Ensure Standard Operating Procedures and Policies are implemented in a timely and accurate manner.
- Product expertise: remain knowledgeable on product offerings and provide expert advice for clients.
- Become the face of Lalamove when engaging local partners to promote our services and values.
What we seek:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to accurately engage potential users
- Charming personality to build and maintain professional relationships
- Strong sales skills to effectively promote and secure clients for our services.
- Can-do attitude and grit to seize new opportunities and make things happen
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills (Proficiency in CRM programs is a plus)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office PowerPoint and Excel or G-suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong network in FMCG or Logistic industry will be a plus
- Data driven and target oriented
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field
- A minimum 4 years experience in logistic or supply chain sales, preferably handling B2B Clients
- Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
