Invictus is hiring for a Senior Business Developer to join their team! We are seeking individuals with 3-6 years of business development in the banking, insurance, or related industries. This will be a fully remote position with the expectation of traveling to industry conferences throughout the year.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning and Sales Pipeline Development:

    • Collaborate with leadership to define a winning strategy for securing new business and expanding market share.

    • Identify and segment high-potential targets, such as conference attendees and prospect lists.

    • Develops multi-touchpoint reach-out “playbooks” to engage prospects in collaboration with marketing team.

    • Participates in selection of industry conferences to attend and leads preparation in advance of them.

    • Acts as a liaison between company and parent subsidiary to leverage parent’s existing network of bank clients and other third parties to facilitate warm introductions.

  • Facilitates warm leads through sales cycle

    • Arranges meetings with company executives for discovery calls and presentations.

    • Follows up with prospects to determine purchase decisions.

    • Drafts SOWs and consulting agreements.

    • Engage with internal teams to identify available resources, leverage networks, and facilitate warm handoffs for smoother sales transitions .

    • Regularly coordinate with key stakeholders to share progress, gather feedback, and align on additional support requirements.

    • Helps keep Hubspot CRM system up to date in collaboration with marketing team.

  • Market Research and Insight Generation:

    • Conduct thorough research on trending topics, challenges, and emerging concerns within the banking sector to identify sales opportunities.

    • Utilize platforms like LinkedIn, industry publications, and podcasts to stay informed about market dynamics.

    • Analyze and benchmark competitor offerings and solutions to identify gaps and competitive advantages.

  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Field of Study: Liberal Arts, Business or a related discipline.

Experience: Generally, 3 to 6 years of related experience.  Experience with sales CRM Hubspot preferred or relative CRM.

Travel: Travel expectations of up to 20% out of the year. Attending industry conferences to further industry knowledge and drive pipeline development.

Salary Range:

$90,000.00 -$110,000.00

Compensation varies by role, position level, and location. Individual pay is influenced by skills, education, training, certifications, experience, and the role's scope and complexity, along with business needs.
