The Role

Business Consultant will work on implementation of Trading and Asset Services Products. The business consultant should have a good understanding of securities financing and collateral management and Capital Markets in general. Candidate should have a good understanding of securities lending/borrowing, collateral optimization operations such as inventory management, loan/borrow matching, collateral substitution, corporate actions processing and securities finance P&L calculations. Additionally, the consultant must have implemented at least 1 vendor product in the area of securities financing and collateral management such as Vermeg (COLLINE), Murex, Adenza (Calypso), CloudMargin,  SSF solutions etc.

Candidates who have business analysis, requirements gathering, product implementation and agile methodology experience will be considered. Experience of leading team of less experienced Business Consultants is a huge plus.


As a Business Consultant, you will be instrumental in shaping client success by partnering with stakeholders and internal teams to deliver forward-thinking solutions that address business objectives and transform the way financial transactions are managed globally.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a primary point of contact during software deployment, handling client questions, troubleshooting issues, supporting new process implementations, and providing hands-on guidance during system conversions.

Design and optimize business workflows tailored to client requirements while adhering to industry benchmarks and best practices.

Perform in-depth data analysis, product alignment, and client consultations to capture and document data needs for effective software utilization.

Create comprehensive data mapping and transaction flow documentation to ensure precise field-level data migration.

Conduct rigorous system testing to confirm that customized solutions meet client-specific expectations.

Lead readiness assessments and monitor progress to ensure smooth and successful system transitions.

Deliver client training sessions on newly implemented platforms and operational processes.

Provide ongoing assistance for system configuration and performance optimization.

Collaborate directly with clients, which may include on-site visits for consultation and implementation support. Leads a team of less experienced Business Consultants on need basis.

3-10 years of experience in consulting, with a focus on project management, technical implementation, or business process optimization. Experience of leading team of less experienced Business Consultants is a huge plus.

 Advanced knowledge of multiple end-to-end systems development life cycles, i.e., waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development and conversion methodologies

 Excellent customer service skills that build high levels of customer satisfaction for internal and external clients

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization

Willingly shares relevant technical and/or industry knowledge and expertise to other resources

Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal, team, negotiation, conflict management and time management skills

Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take

Is resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas
